The following text is taken from the Manifesto of the Nationalist Workers' Party of New Zealand. It was an attempt to combat the Multiculturalists in the media and academia who continually push to instill a "White guilt complex" in European peoples across the world. In effect, the NWP was calling upon White people to break the psychological chains that bind them. In the NWP's Manifesto, the "White guilt complex" is referred to as the "liberal guilt-complex").
The greatest enemy of the White race is itself. The White race is in full retreat throughout the world. This is because it alone, of all races, has lost the WILL to live. Survival of the species is the first law of nature. It is nothing less than perverse that the White race should have lost that natural instinct for survival.
This instinct for survival has been lost very largely because the White race has been subjected to decades of brainwashing propaganda. The White individual is told, day and night, non-stop, over every entertainment and educational media, that he must forever feel guilty for alleged injustices inflicted by his forefathers against the non-white races, while "living it up" at their expense. The White is told that he has no cultural heritage - other than that of exploiting the non-whites - he is robbed of his racial identity, and is made to feel as though he is the lowest creature on earth.
Whites as scapegoats
Every failure of a non-white to "make it" is blamed on "white racism". Alleged injustices of the past are held responsible for violence conducted against Whites by coloured criminals. Simply put, the White can do no right; the coloured can do no wrong. The liberal sages of parliament, churches and media tell us that it is the highest virtue to grovel forever at the feet of the coloured races; even allow ourselves to be bred or killed out of existence, to atone for the "sins" of our fathers.
This is what is termed the "liberal guilt-complex". It is responsible for the world-wide racial masochism of the White race. This guilt-complex has been so successfully instilled in generations of Whites that it is seldom White people are even conscious that they are White, let alone aware of the rich cultural heritage that has been denied to them. ...
Let us take a brief look at the manner in which the forefathers of most White New Zealanders lived in the English mother country. We'll just mention a few facts about everyday life for the average Briton during the last century when, as the TV producers would have you believe, Whites were living a life of luxury by the exploitation of the non-white races.
Worse off than Negro slaves
The famous English social commentator, William Cobbet, stated in 1836: "The starving agricultural labourers of southern England are worse off than the American Negroes."
In 1834 six Dorset farm labourers formed a trade union in order, as they said, "to preserve ourselves, our wives, and our children from starvation." They were sentenced to serve 7 years in the New South Wales penal colonies for this crime.
The situation of the urban workers was no better. Robert Owen, an industrialist who was also a social reformer with a concern for the welfare of his workers, declared in 1840: "The working classes of Great Britain are in a worse condition than any slaves in any country, in any period of the world's history."
By 1840, 6/7 of the workers in England and Wales lived in areas where the poor Law was in force. This provided for the setting up of work-houses for the destitute. Yet conditions were so bad that people endured hunger and cold before applying for entry. In the work houses, husbands and wives were separated from each other and their children. At a work-house in Stockport, a 72 year old man was made to work the treadmill for 14 days for refusing to break stones. In Deptford a 4 year old was locked three nights in the mortuary.
The great slum complex of St. Giles, London, some 12 acres, was crammed with people and rotting corpses. Toilet facilities consisted of ditches of putrefying filth. The foundations and rotting floors of dwellings rested on soil that absorbed the filth until it had become a putrid sponge. Cholera epidemics were frequent, and ensured a high mortality rate, especially among children. Women had to keep watch for rats that gnawed their babies' fingers
Child labour
In the 1800's tens of thousands of White children were employed as “slave labourers” in British coal mines. Little White boys seven years old, harnessed like donkeys, dragged through the darkness carts filled with coal. Little White girls of the same age were filling up those carts. In 1842, White children aged 3 to 4 were working down pits. In the local church graveyards around the mining fields you'll see epitaphs on gravestones "William Smith, aged 8, miner, died 1/3/41." These tiny children were working from before dawn to long after dusk
Starving 14 year old boys were hanged for stealing sheep. Ten year old children were imprisoned on the charge of having caused a public nuisance by spinning a top.
In Britain during the last century, one in four children died at birth. In 1851 only 45% of the population lived until they were 20 years old.
The thriving cotton industry of the 1850's employed 15,000 White children under the age of 13. Six year old children worked from 5am to 9pm each day. Epidemics resulted in a high mortality rate. Unguarded machinery removed fingers and hands.
Prison
During this time, to be sent to prison was tantamount to a death penalty. Many were shipped in far worse conditions than the slaves were, to penal settlements abroad, for life, for petty theft, never to see their wives and children again and, in fact, deprived of the bread-winner, their wives and children were likely to die at a very early age.
A prisoner sentenced to gaol in Britain would work the treadmill, to learn the error of his ways. It was something like the large wheels on the side of a mill. Plenty of slates, plenty of convicts on the slates churning away, doing no less than 12,000 revolutions - not steps, revolutions - before they were assured of their paltry meals. The Royal Commission in 1859 reported British prisoners throwing themselves under railway trucks because death was preferable.
Disease and death
In the 1870's no less than 1,000 British miners were killed every year
down the pits. Frequent explosions in the coal mines resulted in a high mortality rate. This doesn't take into account more than double that number who were maimed and crippled in mining accidents. Nor does it take into account the tens of thousands suffering from the fatal disease called 'Black Spittle'.
Then there were the little White boys who were sent up chimneys. The brutality to train such a small boy was sickening. The flesh had to be hardened and this was done by rubbing the small White boy, mainly on the elbows and knees, with the strongest brine as close as possible to a raging fire. Sometimes a cane would be used as an inducement to further rubbing At first, they would return from their jobs with their knees and elbows streaming with blood and their knees looking as though the caps had been pulled off. These child chimney sweeps suffered with respiratory diseases and cancer of the groin. They slept on soot sacks in damp cellars.
There's quite a silence about all of this, isn't there?
The Highland clearances
We wonder if there'll be a White version of "Roots"? Perhaps some Scots will trace their lineage back to the Highland clearances during the last century, when Scots were evicted from the lands that they had occupied for all time. We wonder if it would make pleasant viewing? One report describing the eviction of a Scottish village reads as follows:
"...not only when knocking down, but after the females were on the ground, they (the police) beat and kicked them while weltering in their blood. Such was the savagery with which the tragedy was carried through, that more than twenty females were carried off the field in blankets and stretchers, and the appearance they presented with their heads cut and bruised, their limbs mangled and their clothes clotted with blood, was such as would horrify a savage.''
These Scots, and Irish, - Whites - forcibly removed from their lands by grasping landowners, were put on to ships sailing for the New World. A ship weighing 300 tons would load 400 passengers, all crammed into a hold 60 feet, by 18 feet, and only 6 feet high. In one year alone, of 13,762 passengers who sailed to the New World, more than a third were attacked by Cholera, over 1,000 died. William Hutcheson, the Colonial Secretary, said "I really do believe that there are not many instances of slave traders from Africa to America exhibiting so disgusting a picture."
Famine
In 1881, 25% of the population of such cities as Glasgow lived as families in one room situated in the worst slums history has known. Two million White Britons (and there wasn't a 56 million population then) lived solely on potatoes - nothing else - just potatoes. In Ireland, then part of the United Kingdom, 4 million lived on potatoes. During the potato famine hundreds of thousands of them died of starvation.

Monopoly capitalists responsible
The chronicle of sad events and suffering of our White forefathers during the last century is inexhaustible. Yet all we hear about is Black slavery and how our poor, wretched White forefathers were somehow supposed to have exploited the coloured races!
The fact is, why should we do penance for injustices said to have been carried out on the coloured races, and which could only have involved a tiny minority of industrialists, who had more of an investment in Black slaves than in our wretched White forefathers, and treated them in a manner that the White workers of England would have envied?
This tiny minority of industrialists (and their counterparts today) were nothing but traitors to their own racial kin. Their only interest was, and still is, in the quest for a quick profit.
It is time that the White race took pride in itself. It is time that the White man stood up and opened his eyes to the achievements of his race and to his cultural heritage.
Instead of guilt the White man must be instilled with a pride and a love for his own cultural heritage. We must get back to the true ethics and culture of our race, to the European concepts of loyalty, honour, integrity, and chivalry; concepts that are the Soul, the True Spirit, of European culture, concepts that once made the White man, before the advent of money grabbing commercialism and materialism, great and proud.
Unless the White man rediscovers his lost cultural values and ethics, and resurrects his will to live, and to live in freedom, then the extinction of his race is certain.
